Biographies of the artists.

Margaret LaBounty:  From an early age, multifaceted artist Margaret LaBounty began developing a keen sense of awareness about her surroundings. Having explored the wide open expanse of the west for a number of years,  she and her husband made their home in the Four Corners area.
This area is famous for petroglyph imagery, and serves as a great inspiration to the artist. It is here at the edge of Navaho land, nestled between ancient walls of red rock and Anasazi ruins, where she draws from all that nature and history have to offer.
Neil Rose:   One of the most recognized names in outdoor and wildlife art.   Neil Rose is no stranger to the outdoors. He became very familiar with the outdoors and wildlife at a very young age, learning to  hunt and fish from his father.
The self taught sculpture began creating his three dimensional work 25 years ago, and has had his work marketed and sold throughout the US and Canada  for the past eleven years.
Currently living in Montana with his wife Laurel, he is inspired by his surroundings of mountains that are green with timber and rich in wildlife. and has great appreciation and interest in his subject matter.
Robert Shields:  Robert  Shields believes in two things: humor and magic. He is a one man creativity machine, who has spent his life sharing his sense of energy , awe, and wonder with people all over the world.
You may know him best as one half of the internationally acclaimed duo of Sheilds and Yarnell-who still perform together to this day.
His art, known as "Southwest with a Twist", shows his fascination with design, color, texture, and form. Robert's constant pursuit on fresh and exciting concepts has rendered his work exceptional and collectable
Ron Moore:  No stranger to the cowboy way of life, western artist Ron Moore grew up spending his time as a rancher, working cowboy and packer in the American West. When he was a child, his family left Oklahoma for the west and Ron spent his life making horse tracks throughout the western states. Having no tv and poor radio reception, Ron would be entertained by his father drawing cowboys and horses at the kitchen table in the evenings.
Ron has taught drawing at Gila Pueblo College in Globe AZ, and is a yearly contributor to An Artists Christmas in Ft. Worth., and many other publications. His art is located in collections in Belgium and Belize, as well as throughout the USA.
Gerry Quotskuyva: Three years ago Gerry was virtually unknown as a Hopi artist. Today his contemporary carvings are hot items on the Native American market. Gerry is known for carving Kachina dolls and alike that are inspired by his Hopi roots. Twenty five years ago he started doing beadwork and making dream catchers to pay for college in Tucson . He started painting in 1987, and took first prize in a Hopi art show.   His artistic talents come from his 91 year old Grandfather who still carves, and his mother who is an accomplished painter.
